The Arizona Department of Education, approved curriculum framework is aligned with the Arizona Workplace Standards, Arizona Technology Standards, and the National Career Development Guidelines. It introduces students to the Career Clusters (Knowledge and Skills) as well as providing opportunities for instruction supported by a flexible learning environment, appropriate technology and support systems. The competencies developed address career exploration and core skill development common to virtually all occupations. Students will explore careers and attain academic and technical skills through the following Standards: http://www.aztechprep.org/CTE_Programs/Career_Explore/career_explore.html

Grade 10 "Keep Going -- Keep Growing" (Discovering)

Career Pathways are for ALL STUDENTS.  By selecting a career pathway, students can prepare for the future, regardless of their interests, abilities, talents, or desired level of education.  All pathways have equal dignity.

For all CTE Programs the first 10 standards are very similar and should be taught as an introduction within the emphasis of related services to individual programs.  The lesson plans below address the first 10 Standards of each program.  Teachers are encouraged to utilize and/or redesign the lessons using their individual creativity to fit the student's needs.
