Technology will play a significant role
in the future of the San Carlos Apache Nation. The future of the San
Carlos Apache Tribe is dependent on the development of a generation of
leaders with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to integrate
emerging technologies into a rich cultural heritage. The San Carlos Unified
School District must take responsibility for developing this generation
of leaders.
The San Carlos Unified
School District is committed to creating technology rich classrooms where
both students and teachers engage in problem solving, collaborating, and
discovering the value of life-long-learning. Our students' consistent use
of technology as an integral part of their instructional program will assist
them in accessing, analyzing and communicating information effectively.
Administrators, teachers, and support staff are expected to lead and guide
students (future leaders) to meet the challenges and reap the benefits of
our technological world.

The
San Carlos Unified School District is dedicated to developing the technological
and human infrastructure necessary to prepare our students and community
to lead their community to use technology while preserving their cultural
traditions. The district will continue to provide, in accordance with
the ADE Technology Standards, effective and appropriate technology, materials,
resources, and staff development to support learning. Our students will
be prepared to successfully interact, work and contribute in any culture
with confidence. |
